New "favorite " casein. You surprised me!

Decided to switch brands and must say I'm going back to Dymatize! It costs less per pound than Optimum Nutrition's tried-and-true casein, which I've been using for years, but I think it has a little more BCAA, but also 2.3 grams of L-Leucine, which has been shown to help with protein. Synthesis, and we all know you build muscle while you sleep, not while you exercise, so this is a great little addition! Tastes great and is VERY low in carbs. (Not practical) I'm taking a cut down so carbs/sugars is a deal breaker and that's basically 2g of carbs - it's all protein and nutrients, I think it's less carbs than the Optimum Nutrition option. It mixes well with water/milk. (I get small lumps, but to avoid this I FIRST add some milk, then a scoop and add milk/water). don't be too fat. You can just use water and use a lot less liquid. I like to use Silk's 'Protein' Nutmeg Milk just for extra protein/nutrients, and I usually have to fill my shaker almost to the brim with a scoop to get it thin enough to drink. It seems to "grow" when milk is used. I can confirm that it serves its purpose. I'm usually less hungry in the morning than if I hadn't taken it, so have less pain etc. Also, I don't have bloating etc. but sometimes I have "stomach" problems - but that's usually when I have dinner eat late and end up taking it an hour or two after eating. It is best to take it on an empty stomach right before bed. But like my post-workout protein (Animal True Mass), it's now a regular part of my routine along with my other supplements.
