If you just fry eggs or boil water, this cooker is for you. If you actually cook, it's a disaster. The numbers on the dial are black on black, making them very difficult to read, and to make matters worse, they appear to only have two heat settings: very high and very low. It seems to burn whatever I put on it because to heat it up I have to crank it up to full blast. It takes two minutes longer to boil water than my old stove, and my old stove is over 12 years old. If my kitchen didn't need a stove this size, I'd throw it in the trash tomorrow. This is a perfect example of what GE really stands for. Good enough
