They are good for adding an extra fused circuit to a vehicle. As some reviewers have pointed out, the fuse fits the socket very tightly, but with up to 10 amps flowing through those little blades on the mini-fuse, the socket needs to be tight enough to make a good connection. I've found that if you can put the fuse in the first time, it's not that hard the first time. I bent the fuse blades the first time, so I was more careful after that. By comparison, a car's factory fuse holders are almost as tight. Overall quite happy with the product.
