Simple and inexpensive

These are typical built-in fuse links. They come with 5 and 10 amp mini fuses, which is fine if you use both. Well done with what appears to be a waterproof (resistant) dust cover. Only thing is I only needed 1 but it comes in a pack of 5, I may be able to use them later but buying just 1 locally was more than what was supplied to me.

Pros
  • Fuse holder
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Decent with a small problem

Decent price for the amount received. Better than going to your local retail store and paying the same amount for a holder. There was a problem with the fuses. It looks like the rubber case got caught in the grooves of the metal fuse holder during the production process. I had to pry it out with a knife before my fuses would fit. Just a minor inconvenience.

They are good for adding an extra fused circuit to a vehicle. As some reviewers have pointed out, the fuse fits the socket very tightly, but with up to 10 amps flowing through those little blades on the mini-fuse, the socket needs to be tight enough to make a good connection. I've found that if you can put the fuse in the first time, it's not that hard the first time. I bent the fuse blades the first time, so I was more careful after that. By comparison, a car's factory fuse holders are almost…
