These batteries are said to be fresh and have an expiration date well into the future. I put one of these batteries in my watch and it started the watch. but when, a few days later, I took the watch to put it on, I found that it was dead. I change batteries in my watches all the time and I usually buy batteries locally but that seemed like a good deal so I took a chance. Unfortunately, it turned out that this is not so much. I have contacted the seller to express my dissatisfaction with this product but have not requested a refund or replacement (not worth the cost of returning and I would not trust a replacement to work better). The seller wanted me to try the battery in another device and make sure it was the right size and inserted correctly. As I said, I am constantly changing my watch batteries so I know what size to buy and how to use them, and since I buy them for specific watches I have no other device to try them other than the fact that it is a lot of effort for something that costs so little. I do not recommend this item and will buy batteries from my local store again.
