Hard Electronics/Schematic Kit

I received this kit a few weeks ago and am generally happy with it. Share to work on different projects and everything I've played with so far works fine. + It really is a great value, especially when I'm still exploring what sets have to offer. + The product website also includes written guides and visuals to help you put the project together, although it makes no attempt to teach you the general concepts. Luckily, I was able to put together some of my programming skills I acquired during college and figure out a lot of things. However, it's not so complex that a stubborn mind couldn't figure it out on its own. CONS ======- There isn't much variety in resistors and I didn't get 250 ohm resistors. with my kit, but 350 is enough to get the job done instead and I can probably just go ahead and buy a cheap resistor set for any project I want to do in the future. The case broke due to a fundamental design flaw (the hinge is a very thin, curved strip of plastic that was molded together with the rest of the case). Also, there is an offset screw with bad threads, so I have a corner that won't tighten. This doesn't affect the use of the board, but it's still disappointing that QC isn't up to speed. The included peripherals and board installation are undeniably cheap, although I shouldn't expect too much. a lot as the main purpose of the product was to give me an Arduino kit for under $30 with a range of components. There are a few typos and inconsistencies in the online manual, in addition to not being very readable for newbies, but it's not. A little perseverance cannot overcome all this. Overall, this isn't a bad product to get your feet wet, especially for the price.
