These shoes have been great so far. I've only ridden 3 times since I've had them but gosh they're comfy! The outsole is stiff for direct power transmission, but just as comfortable to walk on as on a normal tennis shoe. The spikes do not protrude beyond the sole and never touch the ground when walking. In addition, the sole is very grippy, so you don't have to be afraid of slipping on any surface. Installing the cleats was an easy task as the location markings on the shoe are clear. I'm the kind of person who cleans my bike and gear after every ride (thanks, OCD), so easy-to-clean shoes were one of my top three priorities. These shoes don't disappoint in that department either. A damp rag will quickly deal with accumulated dirt after a trip. As a bonus, these shoes come with a pair of black and gray laces. It's a small gesture, but pretty cool considering the price. I didn't give them 5 stars because I've only used them 3 times, but if they last long a 5th star will be added.
