Penalty: Cabinet fittings

Screw heads break off too easily. Some of them need to be filed to keep the sides flat and the corners clean. When I first used them I had to rearrange the hinges a few times - trial and error to get them working properly and the annoying stuffing required to cut the groove (this might be an issue in developing my skills ). . It would be helpful if the hinges had an indication of the amount of "protrusion" required for the overhanging lid to open properly and prevent binding.
