My husband and I just bought a small aluminum fishing boat. So of course I had to buy him a fish finder, after looking at a few different ones I settled on this one. We've used it before and it works great, has many of the features we were looking for. For example, a beep when it makes a mark and a reading of depth in meters or feet. It is ideal for getting on and off the boat. We also go ice fishing so we will use it for that too! Excellent purchase. Update: As of June our dep5h sonar was not accurate at all, saying 0ft when adjacent to a dam known to be over 40ft deep. very disappointing
