Review on 🔒 Enhanced Power Tailgate Lock for Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra - POP & LOCK PL8110 by Justin Newport

The perfect complement to my new tonneau cover. Now everything is protected at the touch of a button. I don't need another key that is needed for a manual locking device. Allow plenty of time to install, wire, etc. There's a good YouTube video online, the instructions that come with it are terrible. A full install on my truck takes about 4 hours, but it's worth taking the time to get it right. First of all highly recommended. Updated 05/24/2016. As others have pointed out, it's not very durable. After using it very little I noticed that after several attempts with my key it stopped blocking/unblocking. It was getting worse so I decided to see what was going on, maybe the wiring is short. I checked the wiring carefully and couldn't find any problems. The problem is the actuator, and it doesn't move the striker bar at all. Doesn't bother at all. It's so annoying that I finally gave in and turned it off today out of anger. Even though they say it has a one year guarantee if you check out their website it clearly states that they do not guarantee any purchases from Revain. This in turn is misleading. While I really liked it (when it worked), I'm very disappointed now. Stay away from this device.
