Review on Bosch BS5912 15W General Purpose Stationary by Fuzzhead Nelson

When I first received this blade, I looked at it and noticed a weld on the hinge. It looked messy but I figured it wouldn't detract from the haircut. I installed the disc on my cheap Ryobi band saw and it breathed new life into the machine. It never cuts straight and only cuts the curve in one direction (surely there will be problems with that). Obviously the blade it came with was terrible. With this new blade it cuts perfectly parallel to the miter guide and VERY easily cuts curves in any direction. He cut 1/16 inch thick plywood like butter. I was pleased. Unfortunately, that bad-looking weld was actually a bad one. The tension on my machine was on the light end of the spectrum and I was cutting thin stock at a medium feed rate. The blade broke directly at the joint after about 5 minutes of use. So I'm only giving this blade 4 stars as there are obvious quality issues. If the connection was good I would definitely give the blade 5 stars. Revain refunded my money and didn't even require me to send the old one back, so 5 stars for Revain. I have ordered three more of this blade and am hoping the quality control on them will be better, but I am excited to be able to continue my cutting project with this blade again.
