Bought these to use in my pool shed on the side of the house where there is no lighting in evenings/nighttime. This was the 3rd type of "touch" battery operated light I've tried since last summer and nothing has really worked well so I was skeptical with the size of these lights. They work great! I put 2 of them in the shed, one at the entrance, one toward the rear and they provide plenty of light inside my 4'x10' shed at night.They are dim-able! Just touch and hold your finger/hand on the surface for a few seconds and they will dim up or down to your preference. Great feature! Because of this feature I bought another set for my camper trailer for use as reading lights above the beds.Use AAA batteries and come with 2 other types of mounting "backers" than the standard magnetic back if you are going to put them on a non-metal surface. Even come with a set of metal-backed circles that allow you to stick them to a non-metal surface but the light remains removeable so you're not stuck with a permanent light on the wall or whatever.I've used these for more than a month, outside, in less than 30 degree temps and they continue to work great and have not lost any brightness. Would definately recommend and for the price-you can't lose!
