At the beginning of the new year 2020 I decided to make tamales easy and as promised this product was delivered. Me and I alone made over 5 dozen tamales, jalapeno cheese and classic red meat in about two hours. WITHOUT this tool I've made a maximum of 2 dozen over the past few years because it took me at least five hours to spread the masa and they all varied in thickness. This tool - GOD sends. Now I'm thinking about starting a side business since making tamal is SUPER EASY AND SUPER FAST. What I love most is that I can actually control the amount of masa in each tamale so I can make masa. thin or thick if I want. After about a dozen turns, you'll be comfortable and feeling the pressure as you apply the masa. Cleaning is as easy as washing a plate. The durable plastic will not crack under the maximum pressure needed to spread the mass, and the pressure required is very low. (Note: if you put a lot of effort into spraying, ADD MORE WATER! Masa is too dry. Be careful with it. If not, ask for trouble) SO. This tool should NOT break unless you miss using it. ---Now I look forward to making tamales every year because with the help of this tool it's no longer a chore.
