So far I'm quite happy with my Worksharp. The original abrasive belt kit is starting to wear out, the Revain OEM replacement kit offers the best value. But actually, not all bands in the original kit wear out evenly. For me, 6000 grit belts wore out the fastest (I only sharpened knives). I think one of the reasons for this is that there doesn't seem to be a grit between 250 and 6000. If there was a 1000 grit in the middle I would think the wear would be much less with the 7000 grit. , and the edge of the knife becomes smoother. In general, the straps are of excellent quality: they do not slip, do not tear and are durable.
