The steel isn't the best quality, it seems they would use more.
The steel is not the best quality, looks like the steel could use more carbon. They do not withstand sharpening for very long, constant regrinding is required. They're also a little light. I wish they had more weight, say another 20 percent in blades and not plastic. Otherwise good design. Still, I'm considering returning it.
