🔪 ZWILLING J.A. Henckels 6-Piece Twin Signature Knife Block Set in Black and Stainless Steel Review

Disappointed. Scissors rusted in less than 5 months. The quality is worse than the predecessor JA Henckels. I hope Revain finds a replacement.

It was a gift and they work like a charm. I love her. They cut like butter. Do yourself a favor and buy a good set of knives. It's worth it. I wish this set included a bread knife but I bought a separate one to include as a gift to complete the knife set.

My wife almost had a cow when I ordered them but the first time she used them she understood why I bought them. They are sharp, and a sharp knife is far more accurate and safer than a dull one. The old set we had was a wedding present and some of them were unbranded. These last a lifetime. I had a few other knives from this company and they fit the holder just right.

The steel is not the best quality, looks like the steel could use more carbon. They do not withstand sharpening for very long, constant regrinding is required. They're also a little light. I wish they had more weight, say another 20 percent in blades and not plastic. Otherwise good design. Still, I'm considering returning it.

A pleasant surprise is the sharpness not only of knives, but also of scissors. My Cutco set clearly needs sharpening. I really enjoy using this set and I take them first because they are very well made, easy to use and VERY sharp. I especially like the subtle cut. Thank you twin JA Henckels!

Knives are excellent - smooth, sharp, stylish. The honing steel and block leave a lot to be desired (the steel grip feels like a cheaper plastic grip, and the block has subtle groove imperfections and unlike the rest of the set is made in China). The scissors would also be better if they were detachable. Overall I'm not complaining though and I still give 5 stars because it's less than $100 for three quality knives!

I chose this product because it comes with enough knives but doesn't overload the unit with all of them. I have a few knives that I wanted to keep and I wanted to be able to buy more in the future. The block is very durable. As already mentioned, the knives are very sharp. Be careful about being careless with your old dull knives.
