Terrible product; Bleeding gums after regular use

UPDATED REVIEW ONE STAR: After using this toothbrush for a few months my gums are in a HORRIBLE state. To my dismay, I went back to regular plastic toothbrushes. After prolonged use, my gums started bleeding. There's a REASON why the bristles on plastic toothbrushes are arranged a certain way and why they have softer bristles that are dentist-approved. They spent a lot of money looking for the best way to position the bristles for maximum cleanliness and gum protection. I wish well-known brands would start using better materials, or I wish these up-and-coming brands would invest the time and money to actually make a good product, not just that "green" trick that crushes gum. Old rating (4 stars): They are good for what they are. Pros: Better for the environment, they're simple but effective. Cons: The bristles are all in the same rectangular area, so they don't feel like fancier plastic toothbrushes. More like the cheapest plastic toothbrush. I would love to find a bamboo brush with biodegradable bristles that has better bristle placement. My husband won't use them because he says it feels like brushing his teeth with his mustache. I don't even know what that means.
