The connectors are also waterproof, and the comfort gauge has a rubber connector cover to prevent water and dirt from getting in when disconnected. The turn signals in my service failed a few days after installation. It still works as a charging port, but the lights have stopped working entirely. At first the voltage threshold was useless, and now the light doesn't work at all. I am very disappointed in this product and would not recommend it. Save money and use the regular Comfort Connect without useless indicator lights.
