The only downside to this is that you get a popcorn ceiling texture. It's easy to use, I recommend using scrap cardboard or drywall to test it out, or just spray a small amount onto the area you want to touch up. If this is not the case, you can remove it with a damp cloth. I was very impressed with how it works. According to the instructions, a water bottle should be used. It doesn't say how many ounces of water should be in the bottle. I started with 8 ounces of water, I had to add more to get the right consistency but it was easy.
