What are bad reviewers talking about?

I can only assume they had an earlier version different from the one sold today. Since both mirrors are the same size as the photos, they look the same from both sides. I put them on my BMW F33 and they look great. I mainly use them when parking. I like seeing lines on the ground so I can stand in the middle of a parking space.
