Review on AEM 1 4007 Flow Filter Wrap by Rip Twin

I only recently purchased this product as I have the air intake system it was designed for. I live in New York where the snow is bad and the salt on the streets is even worse. I thought it would be nice to add some extra precautions to keep the filter cleaner and safer. When I received this, I opened the Revain package and found a tiny bag with a filter sheet rolled up inside. I could care less about the package size and frankly appreciate the lack of material waste, but I really don't know why it's $40. It seems like it should only come with the intake system, which is already quite expensive. Maybe I'm crazy or ignorant, but it looks like nothing more than a treated cloth that can be applied to a filter. For the price, I think it's nice to know that I'm keeping my filter safe and clean, but I'm curious to see how much they label that little cloth. (You have to know that people like me will actually buy it.)
