I ordered two of these; one for each of my puppies as their everyday collar. They’re gorgeous and reflective, and I love the padded portion especially as my pups (especially the one pictured) is still mastering leash manners. I also LOVE the security of the buckle. It looks simple, but you have to be very Deliberate about putting it on and that reassures me that it won’t come off unless I want it to.The cons I’m seeing (so far) I’m using this as the daily wear collar for two 1 year-old pups that are very playful and rambunctious, so a calmer dog/owner would likely not have the issues I see. For instance, the nifty tag holder was completely removed during one of my pups’ play bouts, and in some parts the reflective ribbon is fraying some—I feel that if I pulled it I could remove the entire thing. Also, my hairier pup is having some matting beneath the thick collar (it’s spring headed into summer currently) so I have to adjust it and tend ti the hair it covers. Lastly, try to avoid getting this wet because it will soak through and that moisture can irritate the dog’s skin as well.Like my title said, I believe it’s a great product, just with some flaws.
