I use this to keep my yarn in one place when I'm working on a project. I tighten the perimeter around the hole so the yarn skein stays in and I can pull out enough yarn to knit multiple rows. I looked at yarn bowls but they are much more expensive than this alternative. However, some of my longer needles slip out of the pocket when storing a project for later work because there is one webbing instead of two opposing webbing and the pocket tilts when carried, making it easier for the knitting needles to slip out of the pocket. The good part is that it's very light and easy to carry in the car, so I'm working on a project on long trips. I also love the cute blue and white sheep print. Would have liked a larger selection of fabric prints.
