Review on πŸ“ Precision Woodworking Positioning Measuring Crossed Out Carpenter Tool by Mike Goodwin

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Loved it until I hated it

I liked it until I realized how inaccurate it was. Up to 4 inches was fine. At 4 inches, the marks are slightly tilted. Every centimeter after that becomes less precise. At 8 inches, it's 1/8 inch shorter. The 8" center hole looks accurate but doesn't match the markings. Also very slightly off angle when checked with the machinist's angle. It was close enough for my use. Overall I wouldn't have bought if I knew the grades were so far off.

Pros
  • Portable hole ruler, anti-twist, durable. Simple structure, easy operation, high precision, wide range of applications.
Cons
  • No automatically
