THE DIMENSIONS SHOWN DO NOT INDICATE THE DISTANCE FROM THE CENTERLINE OF THE HOLE TO THE EDGE OF THE DOOR! If used as a replacement, you may need to drill new holes and plug open holes where the previous handle was. The snap trap may be of a different type, and the old doorknob is not as close to the edge of the door as the replacement handle. Having said that, my feature rating, with the exception of the installation, MUST BE FIXED. Estimates for installation are based on the need to re-drill the existing holes of the replaced handle and then find something to cover the existing holes.
