Review on Efficient Set of 50 Washing Machine Lint Trap Snare Fabric Mesh with Ties by Edgar Vasquez

Nothing for septics. Doesn't catch small hairs that can still clog the drain and damage the leech field over time.

Disappointing. My washing machine drains into a sink which drains into a pump designed to pump waste water into the main line for the septic tank. I don't want my pump to clog, so in addition to these filters I have a filter over my sink drain. When I tried a filter, the drain filter got clogged. So I doubled the filters and my drain filter is still clogged. Therefore, I do not consider these filters to be suitable, at least for my system. Two stars for price and quantity but I'm looking for something better. UPDATE: After running into this issue, I did a little research online and found that there should be a hint for septic tank users like me that even if they double up, those big mesh filters are useless. The problem is that the villi that these filters let through, and there are many of them, will eventually cause serious leech field problems related to the septic system. The heap does not decompose and over time clogs the leech field. This is a very expensive solution. In addition, the fluff passed through the washer pump is not very good. This shortens the life of the pump itself. Not as expensive as leeches, but plumbers don't work for free either. Many people on the internet state that they have never had a problem with their septic systems when using such filters, or worse, no filters at all. The problem is that the problems caused may not be apparent until you go to the store and have to inspect the septic system. In Massachusetts, this is called Title 5.
