Review on Plastic Stapler Diagonal Repairing Plastics by Alan Massey

I had several plastic items waiting for me to fix them. I decided to use some sort of super glue or epoxy, but recently came across plastic welders. I ordered two different types - one with staples and another with an iron to melt the plastic - and instead of staples you use a screen for reinforcement. In any case, they both work very well - I was able to fix a number of cases this weekend. On some I've used this, on some I've used the other (which I think I prefer). I didn't do car repairs. I had to fix two plastic hooks on brand new vacuum cleaners. I used this to reattach the hook to the base and then another to hide it. I didn't grind anything because it's a vacuum cleaner. I also had to shave off the rubber backed plastic door and then find a way to fill in the hollow part to keep the bugs from getting in. Well I've used this and another iron in combination. I reattached the cut base to the door (after removing an inch and was able to reseal the door with these two tools. Recommended. I have a crack in our car's bumper and I plan to use that too - I didn't I got around to it, but working on these small projects gives me confidence that it will work for this one too.
