Review on πŸ’» Brydge 10.5 Go+ Wireless Keyboard with Precision Touchpad for Microsoft Surface Go 1 & 2 - Designed for Surface (Silver) by Jerardo Phi

Possible screen burn-in issue but otherwise good keyboard

I would have given this review 5 stars but I didn't for two reasons. 1) I have to take it off constantly when not in use or use it for a limited period of time. For some reason, while the keyboard is plugged in, the bottom left corner of my surface glows like it's being touched. No matter how I put it down, the case encroaches on part of the screen in the bottom left corner and for that reason I take it off fearing it will burn the screen. 2) The mouse moves insanely fast and despite changing the speed in the settings, it's still too fast for such a small screen. 3) Revain now has a $20 keyboard coupon. When buying the device there were no comments. I didn't even know what the bottom part looked like (although the keyboard is black and the bottom part is silver) or how it worked. I may have a bad block, but a potential screen problem shouldn't be worth $140. I'm afraid that if I leave it attached as I intended, the burn will spread or the touch response will stop working. Also, yes I've read the instructions, and yes I've tried attaching and reattaching a variety of ways, but always getting the same result. EXCEPT - the keys are a pleasure to type on - I've had enough of this device not long ago to test the battery life, but haven't had to recharge it since the first charge. The hinge is really solid and allows you to use it comfortably on your knees. The Bluetooth connection was 100% stable.
