This little fan is great for gentle air movement and has remote control functions for oscillation and speed control. You can also set the fan pitch manually. It's not a high speed fan but I like that it has very smooth airflow at 1st speed (and very quiet), moderate airflow (and quiet) at medium, nice smooth airflow and just the right "white noise" Has. ". " (still on the quieter side) above. We have a larger wall fan, but even on low it's moderately noisy and moves a lot of air. So it's nice to have a quiet fan that promotes sleep and doesn't blow too much air around you.
