I really like these machines! I have carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis so I had a hard time working with their heavy wooden sock loom. Also, the adjustable side of this sock was found to be uncomfortable and unmanageable for a normal sized women's sock. The shape is ideal for working in the kitchen, it is very light and feels comfortable in the hand. The pens deliver a good result without feeling cheap or worrying about breaking them. I'm a tight knitter and flexibility helps. The pins hang a bit on the yarn I use, but I'm getting used to it. Use the tool provided, not the ergonomic handle tool.
