Review on ๐ŸฅŠ Ultimate Training Partner: Everlast Thai Pad (Black) by Brad Ward

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I wonder how long either of them would last against Tony Jaa.

If you want to work out your elbows and knees you'll need a fairly solid mat if you don't have a bag. Everlast's Thai Pad definitely fits the bill as it's essentially a large padded shield for your training partner to hold on to while you go all out. It's not as big as some other pads, but it's more than enough and lasts a very long time. The image above is the live appearance of the product. I love the design of the padding with thick stitching on the sides and a velcro grip for the forearm to keep the pillow in place when held. The material used on the outside is smooth and leaves no marks on my skin when I hit it. Round, back, side, top and straight elbow strikes feel great when I hit the pad. Same for the knees. Because the Thai pad is very thick, hitting it with the toe or instep of the foot will initially burn a bit unless you are wearing protection. I can't say anything negative about Everlast Thai Pad. It's a fantastic design, well made and a steal at the price Revain is selling it for. Yes, it would be nice if they were sold in pairs, but why not order two at a time when they're so cheap?
