The device looks good but the instructions are very minimal. The price is affordable and the features are really attractive, but my network hasn't improved one bit. This pretty black box acts as a signal attenuator, not a signal booster. I installed it between my AWUS036NHA USB WiFi adapter (AR9271 chipset) and my existing antenna. It didn't take long for me to realize that I had just bought a "brick" for $89. In fact, when I turned the device on, I immediately saw signal loss and network lag. For review readers: I'm not new here, and according to my vector antenna analyzer, the antenna (I built it) is perfectly tuned to channel 6 of the 2.4GHz band, and my WiFi adapter is working fine. Unfortunately I cannot return the item as I no longer have the packaging. Given all of this, I cannot recommend this product to WiFi lovers. The article is not a good reason to get a lighter wallet. It would be nice if the seller would contact me and offer a replacement or refund. but I do not think so. Carefully!
