This bottle has kept my cold water cold at room temperature for hours. The bottle itself doesn't sweat, but if it's very humid, the lid will collect condensation from the air. The bottle is disassembled into five parts: - lower bumper - cap - Takeya around the cap - rubber seal in the cap - rubber sealing ring in the screw cap. I completely disassemble the bottle for cleaning; Hand wash with dish soap and warm water. Then dry your hands with a towel. I use the handle of a spoon to [gently] help push the pad back into place after it dries. So far everything has held up. I read a post on Reddit that a person has to change the lid every year because the lid breaks off the spout. I try to be careful not to overtighten the cap to avoid this. I also don't overtighten the lid so as not to damage the seal. There are no leaks. I have not yet used this bottle in extreme temperatures. I will be updating this summer as we expect temperatures in excess of 100F.
