This leveler adds an extra pivot point for the center of the springs on each side of our fifth wheels and provides extra cushioning thanks to the integrated rubber bumpers! They also push the pivot points a little lower! This fact made me feel that crossbars would be beneficial for lateral support! A local steel company sold me three 6 foot 3/16 angle bars for $45. I cut them exactly, all three are the same, and took the drops and the corner to the welder. For $40 I welded ends to all corners. Then I drilled holes for the bolts and screwed on the three cross members! My wife often follows her in her car when we're out all day. She says the trailer moves much better than before and doesn't wobble like it used to! I am very happy with this update. This is a quality product!
