These were purchased with the matching Heavy Duty Wet Bolt and Bracket Kit as a preventive suspension upgrade for a 30ft trailer. Previous experience of dealing with the problems associated with using cheap plastic bushings and grease free bolts has led many trailer manufacturers to this configuration. This suspension system upgrade has definitely improved the ride of our fifth wheel. A word of caution: make sure your leaf spring mounts welded to the frame are of good quality and welds. This leveler adds an extra pivot point for the center of the springs on each side of our fifth wheels and provides extra cushioning thanks to the integrated rubber bumpers! I used these balancers to replace the stock metal balancer on a brand new caravan. I decided to also install a MorRyde wet stud and clevis to replace the flimsy OEM Lippert studs that came with the trailer. Installation was pretty easy.
