I used these balancers to replace the stock metal balancer on a brand new caravan. I decided to also install a MorRyde wet stud and clevis to replace the flimsy OEM Lippert studs that came with the trailer. Installation was pretty easy. I was able to replace the balancer and suspension components on one side of the trailer while the other side was still on the ground. Make sure you have good and safe parking facilities on the side to be jacked up. When changing bushings and other suspension components, do the end of the springs first before attempting to tackle the equalizer. This will greatly facilitate the work. Another tip: make sure you have blocks of wood or jacks ready to support each axle while you disassemble the components. Overall it took me about 3 hours to swap out the bushings, screws, brackets and balancer on each side. This included lubricating the wet bolts. When the job was done, we towed the unit a few hundred miles. The ride was comfortable and there was no noise commonly found with OEM suspension components. Please note that these aligners have rubber parts so I understand that they will most likely wear out and will need to be replaced at some point in the future. It is nice that MorRyde gives specific instructions in the instructions on how to check parts for wear. I am attaching photos of parts installed after the job was completed. I would buy these parts again.
