I bought this 12" cap because the other two fit so well. My older 9" and 12" are without the Modern Innovations logo. I was recently gifted two new 12 inch pans. Since I sometimes use both, I needed a different lid. I bought this. After a trip through the dishwasher I used it the next night. He covered one skillet with diced beef stew and waited for the sauce from the other skillet to be added. I heard some crackling/clicking noises and when I turned to see if I had spilled any liquid on the stove, the glass portion of the lid on the pan shattered. So not only did we lose $18, our dinner was ruined. With all that glass, I couldn't even give it to a dog. There is nothing more for me. I have not contacted Revain or the manufacturer, no need for hassle or paperwork. I will simply not buy their products again in the future.
