This is a high quality easy to read scale. The sides are finely ground and the steel is actually quite thick, giving it a solid weight and a comfortable feel in the hand. The only issue I have with the product is that it is not made in the USA (it says 'Made in Japan') as the picture shows. currently on the amazon show. The inch marks are also slightly offset and upside down on both sides rather than embedded as shown in the images here. Revain needs to update the image to properly display the product being sold.
