Review on GE Universal Remote Control (Graphite, 33711) for Samsung, Vizio, LG, Sony, TCL, Roku, Apple TV, Panasonic, Smart TVs, Streaming Players, Blu-ray, DVD - 4-Device Compatibility by Daniel Oliver

Our Samsung DVD/VCR combo's remote control broke so I scoured the internet for a replacement. Not finding any luck, I decided that we should try the universal remote control. This remote control is pre-programmed for Samsung TVs and has a million and one code for other devices. After trying a number of them that kept the semi-functionality of the device, we decided that this was enough. We've lost a few functions, but well, now we can pause and rewind the VCR, which for some reason isn't a function of the front panel buttons. I'm looking at you Samsung. For a week we had to watch the tape backwards to rewind it :/ super weird. But the remote control is very thin, feels nice and comes in different colors. I chose the cheapest. It works great with our Smart TV and is a great backup for any others we might lose along the way.
