I took a risk when I ordered this because there were no reviews. I am happy to report that it has been a great stand mixer so far. I've only had him for almost a week. I made bread and pasta. I love it so far. I used to be a cook and often needed a kitchen helper. I don't think it will last as long as a kitchen gadget but it's worth almost half the price. The noises he makes are far less disturbing than the high-pitched tones of kitchen utensils, more of a rumble than a howl. The pasta attachment works as it should. It has a futuristic look and a large footprint, but isn't as tall as other mixers. All metal parts are light and feel small, but they get the job done. So far there aren't many downsides. I would have preferred a mechanical speed control, but you can do whatever you want with the number keys. For the price and the accessories that come with it, it's worth it. I would have given 5 stars but not long ago.
