I would like to start by sadly giving this review one star. I work in the automotive industry and have installed and tried other premium head units and chose these based on the good reviews and price. The decision I regret please read.1. Priced at $500 I don't expect a big brand like Kenwood, Pioneer or Sony to fall far short. The user interface is slow and buggy. Applications tend to work when they want them to. I've spent more time troubleshooting this device than actually using it. There are cheaper devices ($250-$350) that also offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that I'd rather try. The high quality design is solid BUT it doesn't fit my car (Honda Civic 2006), it may fit later models better, but it is advertised for 8th generation Civic which covers 2006-2011 years. See photos and videos above. for better understanding. I assume that you will also have this problem with later models. One more note, my Civic came with a factory 2006 touchscreen, C/S says no problem. Another point to mention is that if you use the factory screws, they are too big for this device and could potentially damage the plastic. This block does not have a cone with screws. If you have steering wheel controls, this device has no adapters, these buttons are useless. (The color of the block does not match the rest of the dashboard) 3. Other product reviews/advertising Attention buyers! I've seen this trick on many Amazon products. If you look at all the photos and customer reviews, you will see that there is no logo on the device. The device I received does this. This tells me that the seller used a better/better version of this product for sale, which was really good (hence the good reviews). As soon as the seller has fixed good reviews and positive advertising, he exchanges the product for a cheaper one, but takes the same price. I had my doubts when I ordered but thought I'd give it a try and I really regret it. Shame on the buyer for such a bait and switch tactic. All in all, I cannot recommend this device. If you are looking for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto there are cheaper devices, these cheap displays all run the same software (a rooted version of Android that allows them to download .apk, Apple CarPlay .apk in this case). You get the same quality and save a few hundred dollars.
