Review on Experience Superior Gaming with the VIOTEK GNV34DB2 34 Inch UltraWide Monitor: 3440X1440, 100Hz, Adaptive Sync, HDMI by Suresh Henry

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good price - my new review

The settings for color, brightness, sharpness, etc. are a little tricky to adjust, but can deliver good results. You really have to get the settings right, but you also have to get the viewing angle right, but it's worth it. My monitor has a strange "crack" in the layers of the screen that looks like misalignment when the frame was assembled. (See photo) It doesn't invade the display area, and as long as it doesn't invade the display area, I think I'm dealing with a return process, not a return process. For 144Hz to work properly, you need a DP cable that can increase that bandwidth. If you connect a display and it randomly goes black for a few seconds, replace the cable to see if it works. Make sure you buy one that specifically says it can run at the refresh rate you need. The refresh rate combined with a graphics card that can handle it will keep your gaming oil running smoothly. It's very nice to have a wide aspect ratio, refresh rate and HDR in games I've played on a smaller monitor. If you've been using a monitor with a high refresh rate you won't notice much of a difference other than the refresh rate, but if you're using a standard screen it will blow your mind. You won't want to come back. And the fact that you can get two of these monitors for the price of one 'famous brand' monitor with the same specs makes it so much better. I didn't use a monitor stand, but it feels heavy. Overall quality is good (apart from my bezel issue). The packaging is well thought out and got to me earlier than Revain promised with no damage in transit. It works with G Sync and you can adjust many color/brightness settings from the Nvidia control panel.
