Works as expected safety wise

Great idea for reliable leak protection. I installed a valve where the main line enters my basement and placed a leak detector at the bottom of the basement. The installation turned out to be no more difficult than installing a conventional ball valve. The leak detector cable is long, but note that the cable from the valve to the controller is short, less than 60 cm.

Vacation Mode - This unit gives you the option to manually turn off the water while driving.
