Does the job but for some reason leaves a weird static look on all my DVDs. It's like the connection is bad, but I've tried different ports and nothing changes. I suspect the patch cords on mine were just poorly made or something. It still works well, just annoying seeing the lines on the screen. UPDATE: This is terrible. It behaves like it wants to play discs but keeps skipping or stopping when the disc is ok! Very annoying, I've had it for less than 3 months and have already had to buy a new one. Don't waste money.
