Bluetooth phone speakerphone works with my old clamshell so that's a plus. It comes with everything you need to get started. I also found that if I lost the cable that came with the kit, I could use a cell phone charger to charge the kit at home. I admit that I initially had trouble connecting the Bluetooth speakerphone to my clamshell phone. But it was my ignorance, no problem with the kit or the phone. After reading the instructions and trying again, everything worked. If you have a flip phone (or smartphone, probably the same), here's how I did it: I turned on the speakerphone and it said it was 'on' and 'ready to pair'. Then I went to my phone, then settings, then bluetooth (and turned on bluetooth). After that I went to "Nearby Devices" and found the phone and speakerphone. The phone is paired with the kit (pronounced "T828" on my phone). The kit was screaming that it was "paired" so someone called me on the phone and.... it rang! I pushed the button once and a voice came out the other end. Success! To hang up, I just pressed the button again. He does what he has to do. Thumbs up!
