Review on ZERO JAPAN Ceramic Coffee Dripper by Heather Lawson

Great coffee dripper

Have been using it for about 2 years, love it. It rinses easily and goes in the dishwasher if there is space on the shelf. I love the simplicity of the Dripper+Filter+Mug coffee maker. The color choices are nice, especially antique green and coffee brown (ahh, 70's). This was my first coffee filter and I went back to buy a second backup in case the first one broke. Some people have mentioned that they are too fragile. I'm very careful with mine, but once in the dishwasher I hit the top of the mug. Without damage. I don't carelessly put it in the sink or anywhere else where it could be damaged. Some people have mentioned that its size doesn't fit standard cups. With some cups, you may not be able to center the dripper the way you want. Instead, you may have to move the dropper to the side of the cup, which can make it more wobbly if you're not careful. I wish they changed the base for more flexibility, but it's workable. Due to the size of the mug and its fragility mentioned by others, I do not prepare this coffee dropper over my mug. Here's what I do instead. 1 - I turn on boiling water. 2 - I place the folded paper towel on the countertop. 3 - I put the pipette on a folded paper towel on the table. 4 - I add the paper filter while leaving the dropper on the paper towel on the table. 5 - Rinse the filter in a dropper at the sink and place it back on the paper towel on the counter. 6 - Add ground coffee and shake gently to distribute evenly. The pipette is still on the paper towel.7 - Wait for the water to boil.8 - When the water is ready, place the kettle next to the cup so that everything is within reach.9 - Place the pipette on the cup and stabilize them . Do not leave unattended once per cup. 10 - Start watering. 11 - When finished, place the eyedropper back on the binder's paper towel to catch the drips. Most importantly, do not prepare the dropper or leave it unattended while it is on the cup. If you do, your laundry is most at risk if you bang it on the faucet or other dishes.
