Tip: Use if the cup is too big/wide!

This is one of the most aesthetically pleasing coffee tools I've ever owned and makes great coffee. Tip for those struggling to get the base of this spout to sit securely on a very large North American mug: Balance it on two chopsticks placed parallel to each other across the mug, like here. I have 10oz muji china mugs that are perfect for this dripper, but sometimes you need a bigger caffeine cup.

Best buy! suitable for coffee, tea and espresso

I am so happy with my new ceramic coffee filter! It is beautifully handcrafted and functionally perfect. After reading the previous reviews I have to disagree with some of the comments. It is very stable and sits on my cup without any problems. This dripper is better than my stainless steel french press that I left at my mom's so I didn't have to take it with me every visit. Thank you ZERO Japan for this amazing coffee dripper! I will buy it again - my only concern is breaking it due to my own…

Also suitable for smaller cups.

Very good for smaller cafe style cups and ideal for #2 cone filters when bent along the pleat seal (as normally recommended in filter instructions to prevent blow out). The base is a little too small to sit comfortably on a large mug. Very nice finish, no flaws in the ceramic glaze that I can find. I love that you can see how much coffee you've made in the cup through the holes in the bottom of the dripper. The handle is a bit small and can be slippery. I usually hold the dropper by the cone…

BEWARE misleading size

Pros: It's beautiful (antique green), really well made, has a great finish and makes really great coffee (tastes better compared to Melitta even with the same filter paper on which for some reason) Cons: It's much smaller to be advertised as large. Pretty close to the size of my #2 plastic Melitta. But the problem for me is that the base was too narrow and didn't fit some regular cups (risk of tipping) so you're pretty much limited to certain cups. If you can solve these problems, take it! Dangerous product in coffee, tea and espresso

Love the green color and the fact that it is lead and cadmium free. I totally wanted to love it, but it's advertised as fitting 3.75 inch mugs, which is exactly the size of my coffee mugs. It fits, but it's quite a balancing act. I'm afraid to let go of the handle because it's about to fall into the cup. There are small ribs on the bottom edge of the dripper that need to run down the sides of the cup to help stabilize it, but on the 3.75-inch cup, only one of them extends over the rim, allowing

Great coffee dripper

Have been using it for about 2 years, love it. It rinses easily and goes in the dishwasher if there is space on the shelf. I love the simplicity of the Dripper+Filter+Mug coffee maker. The color choices are nice, especially antique green and coffee brown (ahh, 70's). This was my first coffee filter and I went back to buy a second backup in case the first one broke. Some people have mentioned that they are too fragile. I'm very careful with mine, but once in the dishwasher I hit the top of the…
