I had a previous model and needed a second one. This product is AWESOME! There are some big improvements over the previous generation. I really like that the ESD spikes have built in silicone caps. I find it very comfortable for my dog and they don't fall off or slide off. The strap is also a HUGE plus. I love that I don't have to constantly hold it or take it out of my pocket when training my dog on off-leash walks. Another big improvement is the static shock tone. Now I've gotten to the point where I no longer need to use a static signal, just a beep! Instead of beeping as a shock warning and then hitting the shock button, I can do both with one click. This is great because when your dog hears a beep, he'll know (maybe) a shock is coming (if you've trained him). After about a week of use, I don't have to push the shock at all. The beep just works! It was the perfect tool for teaching my dog to walk off the leash. Thank you! I'd also like to point out that you can turn it off if you don't want the beep to beep when you press the shock button. It has way more options and I love the Pantone Color of the Year 2021. The remote control is easier to spot in our mostly gray house and furniture! (see photo for comparison).
