Review on 🔦 Extech EX330 Mini Multimeter: NCV, Type K Temperature | Orange & Green by Richard Payne

Edit: This is a complete overhaul! Extech shipped me this meter with leads that had non-conductive debris on them, severely limiting its performance, especially when measuring resistance and capacitance. But after I washed the sensors with dish soap and a brush, everything changed! This is a great buy for under $100. Buy this product if you want a $50 counter that works great! I immediately warn you that the capacitance is not measured above 220uF. Regarding the sensor issue: I emailed tech support and got a response (from a human) within a day. It's absolutely phenomenal. I usually deal with support for $100,000+ instruments and their tech support is rubbish (cough, cough, agilent and waters). Extech offered me a new set of probes, but since I had already solved the problem I declined, but thanks to their generosity, they won a customer for life. In short, this is a great device for those who need to measure voltage. , resistance and capacitance of the lower range. I highly recommend it, but they need to change their manufacturing process to properly clean the sensors before sending them to customers. Didn't have to deal with the oil cleaning from the forging/casting process, but since they offered to fix it right away, 5 stars.
