After my son tried on flip flops at 15 months and refused to wear them, I tried them because now at 28 months he wears mine around the house. He loves flip flops. I like the quality. They are bigger than expected. Now he's a 7.5 and they are narrow so I went with 7/8 thinking they would fit perfectly as his 7.5 shoes are narrow. They have extra room in the back so are a bit larger than expected, but I'm glad I didn't downsize them. The strap that goes around the top of his foot is tight and I really don't think a size smaller would fit. Once his feet grow to the back of the flip flops we need to remove the foot strap as it is already tightened. OK. They also paint the soles of his feet black. Not always, maybe it's water or sweat, but they get very dirty.
